Thousands protest ahead of Fukushima’s third anniversary

Anger, frustration, and fear. These emotions seem to grow stronger with every Fukushima anniversary.

On the third anniversary of the event, Fox News reports thousands of people, some dressed in costumes resembling protective suits and masks, gathered in several cities across Japan, including Tokyo, to protest what they see as the government breaking its previous commitment to reduce the country’s dependency on nuclear power.

Indeed, Shinzo Abe, the current Prime Minister, has recently proposed to increase Japan’s nuclear productivity.
